Hello, I have this sound when the gear changes from 1st to 2nd at any RPM above 6000rpm. A Buzzing resonance sound (it's not annoying though) which goes for approx 1 sec when engine goes from High loads to no load during gear changes.
I thought it was a leak in my exhaust but the guys at Midas says it's due to the Extractors being different from stock and now more noise gets through.
Not that I mind this, it sounds a little like a BOV.
Anyone else with Pacemakers who get this quick buzzing (bsssssssss) sound?

extractors will hiss at high rpm and if the engine is mechanically quiet (as magnas are) u will hear it.

I got pacemakers a couple of days ago, and yeh im getting a similar audiable wooosshhh from under the bonet. It sounds nice actually and turns heads :D happens when i dump the clutch in at high revs when slowing or changing gear. it was never noticable with stock headers.

probably is your extractors but i also had a similar sound in my old car. the cause was interference from the speaker wires crossing over. if you turn your head unit off completely does it still make the same noise? i had a lot of trouble convincing people that this was the cause until i turned off my head unit, and the sound was gone. it was kinda cool though cause it sounded like i had a turbo or something cause it only did it at high revs and gear changes.
probably not the cause but worth checking ;)

checked, head unit off, bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzsssh, still there... :D
too bad I haven't heard my own car do that from outside. I wonder how loud it actually is in a pass-by.
anyway, something extra for people to consider getting Extractors hey! hehe :dancin:

i ahve this sound!! sounds hell good. when i change above 4500rpm. sounds sweeet lol
definately like a BOV. but its not my extractors (i dont have any) mine, i believe, comes from the split in my pipe just before my muffler.
hehe i luv it!
pity itll go soon when new system is fitted :doubt:

I have a (quite audible) hiss when I'm accelerating, and then a slight "pssssst" when gearchanges happen, it's because my fan belt is too tight
