how much? they look pretty good.... $495 according to this website page... http://www.bestmufflers.com/bshop/product_info.php?cPath=119_348_471&products_id=2024&osCsid=00dae1c5707d0f59271e5d71e0638acf

Agree with above, the look nice and shiney, but I wonder if they also perform well.

They look as though they would be somewhat in between pacemakers and the HM/ralliart headers, except the primaries look a little larger.

We use the XFORCE stuff on Subaru's and works really well, it is very popular with Holden and Ford modifiers too, its price is right and the performance is right up there

I recommend anyone buying these to get them coated as my cousin had a set on his car and they seemed to corrode a little after 3 months, maybe HPC coated would do the trick.
My pacemaker headers were about $800 with HPC coating, well worth it!

Primaries are pretty short :( Pacemakers and Hurricanes ftw on Magnas.

i've had the mild steel ones on my car.. and soon took them off in favour for the pacies..

if you plan an running somthing different to the rear bank to equal out the length of the front.. they might be ok.. but they are 1.5" primaries, and 2.5" un equal secondaries.. without modifiying the secondaries it will sound like a 300zx (terrible)

i still have the mild steel ones (just painted black) if anyone wants them.. only chasing $150 for them... perfect for somone who likes the noise a 300ZX makes.. :)

im pretty sure these were deisgned by Chris at best mufflers,
i take my car to get done there, and mum got hers.
had a chat with him, he designes exhaust systems for x-force and they manufacture them. been an exhaust specialist for 20 years
so he knows his stuff. allthough he put a 3'' system on some done up magna, in my area,( dont think he is a member)
and he told the owner that 3'' is too big. but he still insisted. apparently he was really impressed by its results.
he designed a variable noise/flow system for this old v8 falcon he has. by using the cars VAC.
give him a call at best mufflers, he will point you in the right direction if those x-force ones are right for you.
he reccomended the Pacemakers for me.

I have XForce can, so I'm a fan (rhimes!). But - can't understand... the secondary pipe on the rear bank seems shorter than the front bank's. They should be of same lenght and diameter (=volume).

this is exactly my point.. thus making them uneven, actually not improving power at all (also partly due to the dia of the secondry) if anything a loss in low down torque is what i experienced.. but i only really noticed this after putting on a set of pacemakers which we modified with a stepped 18 deg merge collector... now has heaps of mid/low torque.. or has replaced what it had lost in the first place..

Any specs on the length and size of the primaries, and size of the dump/flex pipe?

+1 for Chris @ Best mufflers, he's done plenty of work for me over the years, top notch. Tell him Andy with the blue supercharged magna sent you :)
