Currently at work and on the phone, so excuse me if my post is a little vague. I'd search, but being on the phone this is also quite difficult and rarely works as it should.
We stock Denso and NGK spark plugs, so I figured I'd grab a set for my KR (3.0L V6). The parts catalogue specifies W20EXU-11 plugs, with a 1.1mm gap for the 6G72 engine. Unfortunately we've run out and will not be reordering these plugs.
The head parts interpreter insists W20EXU plugs are exactly the same and will work fine in my engine. I have checked this myself and the plugs, according to NGK and Denso, are exactly the same with the exception of the gap. W20EXU's have a 0.8mm gap, while W20EXU11's have a 1.1mm gap.
Should I still grab the W20EXU's regardless? Or should I stick it out and get the W20EXU11's? I won't be out of pocket either way, but I still won't get them if they compromise ride comfort, engine performance or overall reliability.
Cheers
