From the info I have, EVO 1-4 brakes were all the same. It wasn't until EVO 5 in 1998 when Mitsubishi upgraded them to the 4 pot Brembo jobs.

Check the rotor sizes. I vagely remember that older evos may have used the used the same caliper as the evo 4 but a smaller rotor and therefore a different mounting bracket.

Evo 4 rotor size is 294x24mm at the front. Do evos 1-3 use the same size rotor? Should be able to find out easlily just checking a DBA catalogue or something.

EVO 3 Twin pot calipers are the same as 2nd gen twin pots, which means no they won't fit as the bolt hole spacing for the caliper is different

If you're not interested in buying the brembos, I might be.

I would then have a set of AWD brakes to sell.

Thought I'd revive this thread instead of making another.

Well I've got EVO IV front and rear rotars and calipers in the mail. Just wondering where am I able to source the upgraded lines? Hoppers? Also chasing the spacers for the rear. Would Hoppers stock these as well? Were these the spacers available in the group buy ages ago?

Cheers

Hoppers made the spacers & the lines for the group buy.

They can make braided hoses & charge around $70 each for the braided ones. (That's what he quoted me recently)

As for the spacers, if he says he needs measurement etc, I've got the spacers here that he made before so I can drop them in to him to copy them if he needs. It's only spacers at the rear that you require, correct?

ok cool. If you have found somewhere with decent prices I wouldnt min a heads up. I also have to get braided lines at some point. QFM HP-X pads are supposed to be very good as a street pad and almost dust-free

Cheers for that. Ill give him a call tomorrow. Appreciate the help :) Only require the rear spacers, pretty sure the fronts are bolt on. Just throwing it out there to see if its feasible to install the rears or throw them on fleabay...

Luke - I'll try and come around sometime this week or text you but we'll just get them sent over together if u want. Save on postage :)

$70, I think for the spacers. If you've got everything else, you might as well chuck them on.
