First one: my drunken mates have recently decieded that i dont need my manual aerial (ive seached but not 100%) so went to Repco and was quoted $417 for a new one!!! Now theres no way im paying that price and Mitsi said 600 for a TH electric one but 100 for a TF or TL (cant member), can any of the TF or TL's fit my TH?
Secondly having power problems with my internal light. when the car is locked and the switch is on DOOR it still recieves 9volts, giving my LED a little bit of power and dim  i really want to fix this as its a pain in the **** not having an inside light.
thanks in advance guys :)

pretty sure you can electric aerial kits for like $150? at places like super cheap and the like? or maybe that was for a normal aerial..

Where is the TH aerial mounting position? Rear lhs quarter? If so I believe the TE-TH had the same roof turret and hence rear quarter.

Hmm supercheap said 200 bucks to fit a TH, yeah the mouting is rear left right hand side quarter panal, so that means the aerial should fit then aye

OHH sorry i thought you meant you wanted an electric aerial! $417 is ridiculous for just a piece of metal!

Check the wreckers for an aerial.
For the light issue check the door switch earth. etc..i believe they have constant power but earth is the on off switch.
might be wrong but easy to check.

I do want an electric aerial a whole new part, but i think 400+ is a little overpriced.
i did have one faulty door switch but replaced that and its still happening, could it be the switch in the unit?
FYI, power antenna motor and mast is the same for TE-TW Sedans. TL ES is the cheapest one from Mitsu from memory but it fits the lot.

Sorry but no.
The TE, F and I think H all have an 8 pin plug where as the TJ onwards has the 3 pin plug Some of the KJ verada's had the 8 pin plug, this was used to facilitate the half mast option that some could use

What you mean by plug?

FYI the best bet is a generic one for seventy bucks and dig wiring

But I know someone who bought a TL Antenna to put in a TF and it works fine? Plug and play.

Yes check the switch terminals and the screws to mount it as its an earth switch.
The best 10 bucks i spent on a car was a multimeter.
will tell you whats up. eg use the pos and neg in the switch and if its low you can check from there.

Try Wreckers for Electric Aerial - last year I paid $40- for one (3-wire version) to suit my TJ (II) Sports, tho I think the guy originally was after $50- for it (I had been referred by his twin brother at another outlet, so he honoured the price).
My KJ (I) Verada has the different (5 or 8-wire) aerial motor, but at least on these ones you can replace just the mast if the motor is still OK - and auto-parts stores can get an "Aerpro" replacement mast for about $70- which looks identical to the OEM mast which I broke (classic "Car wash" fail moment of mine).
With the interior light, I'd suggest the multimeter gets a workout, and maybe check the condition and operation of your door switches, see if its one particular switch doing it. Also, depending on your model just make sure its not your Body Electric Module giving a delayed-fade lights-out. I suspected that my TJ had issue with LEDs getting bit if power leakage, but now think it was just the fade-delay "feature".

Okay ill have to drop into few wreckers then see what i can find,
could it be that because ive changed the globe from normal to LED that the 9v didnt do anything to the normal globe? if you know what i mean, becuase LED's dont need as much power as normal globes do they? ill take the fade delay into mind thats mate will check soon

If you're friends with a mechanic or panel beater, get them to get you an antenna at trade price, I got a new one in my TJ and cost me $88 trade.
