I've got VR-X side skirts and thought about doing the same.

Have you considered spraying the triangle chrome to match the rest of your trim? Would look different.

I'm just wondering as to why? I mean if it was the sports edition with the red stripe already down the side you might get away painting the 'smallish' triangle red but otherwise i think it would wreck an already hot car. Chrome on the other hand may be an interesting idea, as to how you would chrome that small area and do it effectively is beyond me, perhaps ask someone to photoshop your car with chrome or red like you specified and go from there. If i knew how to do it well i would but alas i am useless at it. Sounds like an interesting mod, good luck with it!

Im not sure how you plan on painting it chrome unless you mean the crappy pressure pack fake chrome.

Maybe you could try fixing a polished sheat metal piece there

MGNTZD did his triangle section in matte black (the rest is Sable black) but you can't really notice it in the photos.

Don't do it in the crappy spray chrome stuff, it dulls after a few washes, use a nice metallic silver.

""Mate why would you want to do this", personal pref of course but hmmm it may look a little out of place, such a light colour on such a dark colour it just 1 spot, even tho the center console and grill are done silver it wouldn't really show "flow" in colour if you know what i mean. would kinda stick out like dogs ****'s. But hay its your ride man and you go with ever you think will look sweet. good luck with it
