gday gday

are the seat rails in our seats removable? reason being is i'm 95% certain i'm going to pick up a pair of racing seats this wknd but not sure how much of a headache they will be to fit to my car with/without the correct rails. The bloke im getting them off has rails for a Lancer but i highly doubt they'll be the same. Any info or help would be appreciated

Looking in the manual - it looks as though the rails are part of the reclining mechanism, on power or manual seats, and are fixed.

yes the rails have 4 bolts that attach the seat to the floor and when u take them off there is 4 more bolts that hold the rails to the seat

Last time i pulled a seat apart from the 3rd gens, the base part you sit on comes off but the reclining part is one piece so rails would have to be made.
