hey guys
so i did a search and i cant find the answer to my question i went down and got some castrol edge 10w-60 oil
man at repco said it would work awsome but im not so sure anyone got any ideas on this
says on the back of the bottle for modern high stress engines

im my opinion thats too thick ..
You didnt even have to search - few threads down is this thread.....read it, there's more oil info in that thread than you could possibly need.

good for peak of summer in the northern teritory maybe,but may be too "thick" for a vic winter,and with these wide multi viscosity numbers (10W-60),they have to compromise with additives etc i think,wait for Alans J`s reply,he will set you straight,i would choose 5W-40 myself

It's too thick, do an exchange for Castrol Edge 5w30 instead.

thanks guys went down and swapped it for some 10w 40 so guess what im doin on my day off:P
