hey guys.

i have a kenwood head unit and 2 12" kenwood subs and the gayest us audio 4 chanel amp you will ever see, it looks like a surf board without fins its rediculous. bloody autobarn told me it would be good, im an idiot for believing there bullsh*t lol. so im looking at getting a mono block, i was looking at a kenwood kac-9104d mono block 1800 watter for $332 off the kenwood site , just wanted to know if any 1 has 1 and if there any good, im trying to go with kenwood but im open to other options.

Ok first up fyi that amp your looking at is 500w RMS @ 4ohm, 900w RMS @ 2ohm, 1800w is peak power, means bugger all. Still plenty for the subs you have I would imagine (depending on what subs you have exactly).

I reckon Kenwood is pretty good bang for buck, I've heard a couple of systems using Kenwood gear and honestly for the price you pay you couldn't complain one bit.

I had a KAC-9152D mono which is just an earlier model of the amp you are looking at and i thought it was great with plenty of power. I had it driving a pair of Kicker CVRs and then a single type X 12".
