..Whilst i was changing my front hub yesterday,i managed to put a small hole in the cv boot close to the hub.. :(...now the damm grease is pissing out....is there a quick patch job i can use to seal it without having to take the whole shaft out to replace it..???? :cry:

All you can really try is wrapping it in some strong plastic of some kind and duct tape/zip tie each end.
Its not gonna last long though

Could you clean-up the outside of the boot, and cover your small hole with a dob of silastic?
This may have been best done immediately after making the hole and BEFORE driving the car. Let silastic dry (or at least be very tacky) before driving, it should set and adhere well, and flex wit the boot etc
