Went out and bought the new sound system for my second gen wagon, and took no notice of what was in there to start with (oops lol). Just getting stuck into fitting it all out to find that the front speakers are in the dash and there is no way to put the new 6' ones in there, so to put them in the door. Luckily there is a hole in the door frame work to suit them. But good bye to the self that holds loose bits of paper and stuff...
The head unit fits fine luckily, but to run the wires every where they have to go is a real pain. My car is virtually going to be gutted by the end of it.
Trying not to break any of the moldings and surrounds but its an old car and they are brittle - in other words oops to late. haha
The boot is getting custom boxes with 12" subs, and after trying to get the plastic sides off its not negotiable any more. Damn the brittle plastic stuff, now in a lot more pieces then it was originally.
Will keep at it for a few hours and take some pics of the progress. Next time i think i will pay the extra for installation. ....

yep, and you are learning the good way (not hard way). the 6" mids are by far better than 4 inches, all you really need though is some verada door pods to make it look nice
