Hey people,

Question for anyone who has installed speakers in the front doors and an amp in the boot of their second Gen sedan.

How long were your speaker wires?? Even though i have done this before I have never taken notice of the lengths used. Essentially I will have an amp sitting at the front of the boot (near the ski hole, running lengths to each door and the A pillars. I tried to have a measure but its kinda difficult without taking seats out and cattering for corners and all.

Just buying some new cables and trying to workout how much i will need, cheers!

Mate It's hard to give a definite answer. I'd say minimum 5 meters each side (always buy more then you need JUST in case) so if your running 4 lengths, get 20 meters, and even then I always buy a bit more, I'd end up with like 22 meters or something stupid, I HATE being short..

haha i was hoping you would reply tuffy. I was assuming about 5m a run but as you say I would not be happy if it was short.

Main reason i ask is I am looking at buying a roll, and found a 20m roll at a good price. I was going to buy a 25m roll originally but i was hoping that i could get away with 20. hmm dilemmas.

I would get the 25 meter roll just to cover your ass, if your short, your then gonna need to drive to buy another length etc etc etc
Trust me been there DONE that
