Are tyres rated as 215/40 sufficient for a TE magna fitted with 17s :confused:

Sounds too small... OEM 17s for that car are 225/50... if you wanted 215s you would probably need to go to 215/55 or 215/50.

15/205/65 Diameter 647.5 mm
Wheel B
17/215/40 Diameter 603.8 mm
Difference: -43.7 mm
Speed difference 6.7 % less on same revs a comaprison wheel
Max difference in diameter can be +/- 15 mm

Hence - way too small in NSW.
