Have looked at all posts in this section back to 2007 and also searched on my issue but cannot come up with much at this point.

Engine has intermittent miss at idle and under acceleration whenever the engine is cold (about 5 hours since being run). After engine has been running for about 10 minutes, the miss disappears and runs normally until the next cold start. Have checked the pcv valve and looks ok and I have disconnected the battery to reset the computer etc.

The problem started about one month ago and is slowly getting worse. The miss is not constant during the 10 minutes of cold running - it comes and goes and feels like the engine is dropping a cylinder momentarily.

Have been to U/T and after a day and a half was unable to find a fault using their diagnostic equipment. The engine missed on queue as I drove it away. lol.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for everyones input. The problem was rectified with a new set of leads and plugs. Also found an oil leak around the plugs from the rocker cover.
