these are the TB's that are the same size with the lip removed yeh?

interesting

my car made zero extra kw's with this.. car was dyno'd.. Tb fitted straight away.. dyno'd again.. zero kw's anywhere at all.. no difference in anything.. same power delivery everywhere

You are missing the point. With EZBoy's modified TB, throttle response is 100% better off idle and goes some way to hiding the sluggishness of the engine below 2000rpm. It was never about increasing power, but improving the drivability of the car much like the Streetfighter manifold. I suspect Streetfigter power figures would not be a big gain across the rev range but improves on-the-road drivability a lot.

pwned by gremlin :P

did you find that the engine revved more freely?

i cant imagine a whole lot of difference between the high flowed and non highflowed, but its something i will do eventually anyway

:facejump:

from what i can gather the reason it makes the car feel better on small throttle openings is cause the lip has been removed (that appears to be there so the car isnt so "snappy" when u touch the throttle)..

hey im all for mods that make the car drive better so its good the owner is happy!

The lip was probably there to stop the straw hats from hitting the back window hehehee

It does make a difference, especially if on an auto. Get one if you can.

Thats not the point mate, its not being sold as a mod that increases power, the OP never said it made more power.

flowed tb made a huge difference to my magna, i loved it

it doesnt make extra power, and i dont think ive ever heard EZBOY say it does. but for the money i think it was the best value mod i did on my car.

fair enough guys

im not having a go at the mod at all.. please dont take it that way...

guess i just personally didnt see the benifit of it....

to me pushing the accelerator a tad more had the same affect....

doesnt it just mean u dont have to push the accelerator down as far for the same amount of air to come through?

it means that the throttle is far more adjustable than before.

omg i never said it increased hp, all i said is that it increased throttle response, and on my auto it is a big difference,no flat spots on acceleration.the cost was $200 to my door get $100 back when i send back my old one
