I thought I would give my dealership a call today about this so I know what these are new but I hit a brick wall or I had and idiot on the phone my question is as follows :-
Do the Verada Chrome boot garnish with reverse light's come in 2 parts or are they one piece ?
The other problem I came across was the guard repeater's in clear was told there were none up till 2002 ?
Not sure about the verada/diamante garnish but no magnas came out with clear guard repeaters. People source these from the 380 - about $25 for the lot. Before that the only option was either lancer/outlander guard repeaters or commodore ones (that required a pretty forceful jam in)

you can buy the rear garnish (i assume your talking KJ here - keep that in mind), as the back pice, and then the reverse lights seperately
the rear (KJ) garnish itself, is one piece - that is the verada word, and the chrome bit all around the reverse lights etc.
EDIT - for clear front indicators / guard indicators, ask for 380 clear side indicators.
do a search for part numbers, prices, funny pictures and endless threads about it.
unless you are referring to REAR side markers / reflectors - those are only red, have to do a lil custom work to get them made clear - i think someone on here did it tho using perspex?

That's just it I don't want to buy seperately I want to buy as one piece I was quoted by the dealership for just the chrome garnish no reverse light's $250 and then why would I want to only buy that and have 2 big gaping holes in the boot where the reverse light's should be. ??? I can't track down a second hand set.
So these 380 side repeaters will just fit that same way as the TE will they ?
the idea of sepearte parts, is you only buy what you need - it would suck as a KJ owner to have to buy the whole rear garnish assy and lights, for a single reversing light.
keep your eyes out for the rear garnish - they DO come up from time to time, check ebay too.
remove old (orange) indicators from guard, change globe to orange (to be legal) reinsert - done :)
5mins per side :)
but yes - search for 380 side indicators on the forums for a full step by step and pictures and the like (lol)
they are the same size and shape as the TE ones - just clear :)
gains an extra 50fwkw too for it!! lolz

Ok went back to the Geelong Dealership REXGORELL MITSUBISHI parts armed with a vin number supplied by a AMC member and then got a heart attack this time and this was what I was quoted on :-
MR492289 - Garnish-RR PNL-CHROME $540.79
MR535027 - LAMP KIT-BACKUP-LH $94.58
MR535028 - LAMP KIT-BACKUP-RH $92.95
A total of $728.32 RIP OFF BIG TIME
So, armed with this onformation how much do you thnk this package is going to cost you second hand? $500?
No luck from the wreckers, I take it?

Another chance would be a bloke in NZ on Fleabay as "Tuatara JDM" - he often lists Chrome Inner Door handles, located in windy Wellington NZ. I bought handles once and he was great to deal with. You could find one of his listings, and ask if he has (or can get) any KJ garnishes - maybe send a pic showing what you mean (so he can translate "Verada" into V300 or Diamante).
EDIT: With those spares prices, now you know how "upscale" and exclusive our Verada's are!!! Jokes.

Someone ran into the back of my luce a few years ago, cracked a tail light, dented and scratched some chrome mouldings and small dents on the bootlid and bumper, $3500 to fix! chrome mouldings were $700 and $450, bumper skin was $900! gotta love not at fault insurance claiming haha and policy stating new parts be used in repairs.

Sorry mate - should have mentioned - the NZ guy is in Aussie EBay. Just search Magna/Verada in our ebay, look for chrome handles and one of the listings is likely to be his. If he was in NZ E-bay, I'd never find him - I am absolutely clueless on overseas searching, dammit!!
Could also try aussie seller called 'lancerCity' in caloundra Qld. name is dave - if he lists a mobile phone on whatever he has up in e-bay (often body panels), that'd be the go - he is slow to answer queries by EBay messages, and often answers only partly. Prices seem reasonable to me tho, just the travel to pick-up or cost of freight to factor-in.

Well look what just showed up on the US site just one major problem he won't send to Australia and it's damaged.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-DIAMANTE-KOUKI-FULL-CHROME-GARNISH-OEM_W0QQitemZ370174703192QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors _Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item563021b658&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A1171|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318
Damage doesn't seem that bad, could get a tab plastic welded on or something, and the ad states: "FOR OTHER COUNTRIES PLEASE ASK FOR SHIPPING RATES" so he may do postage to Australia

Yeh saw that a while ago, been for sale for a couple of weeks, its only it Japan compared to the US so shipping shouldn't be too high if he will do it.
