hey guys,

needing to adjust the TPS in a 92 4cyl magna auto (ive unbolted it before, i know, stupid). the workshop manual is talking about jumper wires (test wires) and i dont have these. is there an easier way to do this with a multimetre but without having the wires or feeler guages? a step by step process would be really handy for a 4 cylinder, including voltages

i need to be able to set up the TPS module on the actual throttle body and be able to set the TPS screw up before i reset the ISC.

if anyone has a step by step knowledge of this, please let me know :)

thanks

Alex

just back probe with a multimeter and you will be fine

I have a sticky somewhere around here :) about cleaning a TB< this also shows how to set the TPS

just out of curiosity.. on the TPS plug, which side do the terminals start from? ie terminal 1, 2, 3, and 4.. cause if im going to prod terminals 1 and 3 i need to know which ones they are :)
