You will have to purchase the Oval Pod and adapter kit!

No, Unfortunately.. It doesnt come with the Pod Package, you have to purchase the kit seperately!

Why not keep saving and invest in a full K&N CAI kit?

Asad;

You dont' need to necessary buy the oval pod, I've used a round Apexi one before with no issues on it...

The Oval one comes with the bracket for the MAS sensor for all the mitsu vehicles, you can buy a generic bracket if u choose to use another type of filter.

I do however stress that the cheaper autobarn versions ie simota, sounds good in the air suction department but doesn't flow as well as K&N, AEM, Apexi or other famous brands.

The little sleeve that goes over my filter is called a "DryCharger". It stops water from entering the filter to prevent a hydrolock of the engine, but as Ben had asked before, it doesn't mean the filter can go under water, it's just there to prevent water splashes from entering the filter.

Hope this helps...

You might wanna contact K&N and give them the filter part number and see if they have the DryCharger for your filter...

I got mine as part of my CAI kit..

I've heard about Diamante guys in the US using round filters and never having a problem, but I've also heard of people using round ones and having all sorts of problems...so I'd get an oval one just to be safe...but I can understand why you asked! The oval is about 200 bucks and the round ones are like 50 lol

By all means give it a try first...You can always take it off.
