No idea if I am allowed to post this sort of thing or if this is the right section, but Jaycar have a huge special on their Response 800W monoblocks (JA0428) and the 1500W monoblocks (JA0429).
Both on sale for $150
Quote from their website:
Please note: Techstore only products have a 3 month out of box warranty. They can be returned for repair but can't be returned for a refund. Stock consists of damaged stock repaired to working condition and returns or excess stock.
I have a 800W one powering my Vibe sub and they are a solid little unit.
Cheers

I've got a 750w sony 12" and a Sony 800w amp running it, would one of these amps get much more out of the sub or should I look at upgrading my sub?
Would the 1500w run 2 subs?

I am betting those figures are PMPO. What are the RMS ratings in the sub and amp?
PMPO is the MAX power your sub can handle for a few milliseconds :P You need the RMS rating which will probably be more like 300Wrms. In which case the Response 800Wrms will be heaps, but the 1500Wrms allows for upgrading in the future...
Both the 800W and the 1500W will run 2 subs, you just need to wire them up so the impedances are correct.

Yeah He's given the Max rating there, His sub would be 300W and his amp would probably be around about the same.
So in other words pete, this amp would blow your sub to high hell if you tune it incorrectly ;)

The JA**** numbers are techstore specials directly operating from the online store, not available through normal retail. You'll need to order them directly from the Jaycar Website.
