um... kinda random...

WTF do my high beams stay on, if i drive/start the car.. turn off.. then click my high beams on.. they don't turn off untill you put the key in the ignition and turn..

really random.. might be some useless saftey feature? for what i don't know.. it just doesn't make sense to me.. lol..

Read up your glovebox manual, if you have one. Its a "feature" - I've never used so don't remember precise details - but its a time-delay deal, lets you get out of car and into the house before turning off automatically. Sorry, getting ready for evening shift so no time to read-up how it functions, you can alter the time the lights stay on etc IIRC.

really... i thought it might have been another one of those useless features lol... kinda only usefull if your strandard on that planet in Pitch Black..

thanks for that.. i don't have the manual.. but i'm sure i'll find out what the go is.. i'll test it out and see how long it stays on for..

after 2 years i thought it was a fault somewhere!

It is as designed,
Stays on for a couple of minutes.

I.e. Stop, take ignition key out.
Flash main beam, get out of car, lock and get indoors before the lights go out.

From memory, it depends on how long you hold the high beam stalk. The longer you hold it, the longer the light stays on (up to a minute). It is a personal safety feature (especially for women).

I had this happen to me once. Couldn't figure it out and the lights turned off after a while by themselves

Gonna presume this is one of those TH on type features?
