I have just got a TF Sedan and it has 52x4W Sony CDX-GT250S Headunit

Now I am not sure if it is me or if some one has wired this thing around Backwards but the stock 6x9's are all Mid range and not really any depth... Is this just a trait of the stock 6x9's on the back deck ???

The Stock Speakers don't project any treble... Just Mid-range....

Yep, that's right. You have no tweeters.

Add 2 way or 3 ways.

If they're wired backwards, you lose bass, not treble. Otherwise they're the stock speakers they're in the rear they're not essential to sound quality at all, don't worry about it.

Sounds like a setting on the deck. Old Pioneer decks had FIE which would cancel out any hz higher than what was chosen ( 250hz for example ). Not totally familiar with the Sony but im sure it has something silly like that.

lol I feel like a Noob....

Downloaded a Manual for it and dropped the MID setting to Negative 10... and what do you know... the seperation between Bass and treble became clearer...

Now all I need to do is Get a Decent set of Fronts and a Decent set of 6x9's...
