Anything Pre-AU is the wrong offset for Magna.

hence, AU-On fits.

you can pick up a set of R34 GTT rims for like $350 with tyres. will need some slight filing down to accept the hub, though. there was another guy with RX8 rims on his. help?

Magna offset is +35 to +46 (+46 is stock) someone fitted RX8 18x8s which are +50 to a second gen. So the Fairlane rims will be fine - right offset and PCD, all you need is a set of hub centric rings which my local tyre store told me were $5 each (you need FOUR! wow) since Falcon centre bores are larger.

well found out today that mags from an au fairlane do not fit the front of a tr 2.6 wagon. the offset is wrong. well $150 down the drain.probaly scrap the mags now and sell the tyres should be able to recoup my loss. alloy scrap is fetching a good price atm. really disappointed

how faqr are they out in mm approx? You may be able to get them machined on the inside to be able to fit.

will take a pic tomorrow. yeah got me stuffed because i am sure i had a set of these on one of my other magna's. these mags do have a plastic dust ring around the edge of the spokes.

Why don't they fit? What do they hit? Or not? BTW, you need locating rings to reduce the centre bore to 67.1.

How much extra clearance do you need? Could always run the risk of using illegal, but theoretically safe hub centric spacers.

I still find this hard to believe given its a wider wheel and has a lower offset. Plenty of people have gone for Ford rims...

See if agree, i've seen guys slap territory rims on their cars ntm, AU-BF rims, so it must work, i wonder too where the problem came from

wheelworx reckons its the rims design, the rims would have to be machined to fit. i know i find it hard myself as i have fitted au/ba mags to other magna's i have had without any problems. i am quite disappointed about all this but i must stop fiddling with cars i get, something always happens just like it has.
