the guy said he traded in a car for it from canberra or somethin like that and was unable to tell me much more.
ive had a look at it and it looks like its in relatively good nick apart from minor stuff such as a broken ash tray, broken aerial, and the plastic cover that covers the hole in the backseat was also broken.
the only reason i wanna find out if anyone knows anythin about it is because the guy sellin it looks a bit suss. not to mention the dealership doesnt really look like a dealership lol. anyway if any help could be givin it would be really appreciated.
oh and if you have any suggestions on what i should look out for or any questions i should ask feel free to let me know??
thanks again guys.

first of all its a vrx LE hence the leather, silver dash and steering wheel.
strange that the wheels have been 'upgraded' to the same size

oh i knew it was a le. forgot to add that part in lol. but yeah he said the original rims that came on it were **** so he put those rims on instead. wish the guy who sold it left the vr-x rims on tho.

its also missing the mitsu badge which goes in the middle of the bootlid at the rear, yet it still has the others, make sure that it hasnt been in a rear end smash from that, could have been a cheap repair job!

What would be wrong with the original rims though? Even if they're gutter-rashed to the ****house, it doesn't matter so much since they're dished rims.
Also agreed with liverpool_rule_88 that it could have been in a rear-ender. I've never seen anyone only remove the Mitsu badge.
Have you been able to view the service history for it? Seems a little cheap for a dealer LE.

Rego has to be included in the price of dealer cars anyways, so doesn't really matter if no rego on it now. Plus thought it was a bit expensive for the km's it's done.

Dunno about other states but in VIC a dealer car has to be sold with a clear title, it's the law. So no need to do a REVS check.

wow thats actually a really good point. that would explain the broken aerial as well. thanks heaps for that liverpool. def gives me somethin to think about. in all honesty i didnt particularly like the guy ne way. somethin seemed off about him and the whole supposed 'dealership'.

the only history of the car was the service book and it didnt look like it had been serviced as much as id hoped. not to mention that i think (judging by the different places it was serviced) it had three previous owners before the dealer got it. not sure but just assuumin.

yeah i guess this is one of those occasions where filthier is better isnt it lol. i dont mind whether its private or from a dealer. i prefer a dealer though only coz u get the warranty with it and that way u have some security in the purchase u make whereas if its private ur pretty much stuffed if its a dud.

Could always get the dealer to take the car to your mechanic, that's what we did with the TL, put a deposit down on the proviso that my mechanic passed it. Dealer had no probs with it, mechanic had it a few hours and went over it, picked up dodgy tinting, dud spare tyre and needing wheel alignment other than that it was good once they fixed those things.
