I found half the information i needed, just not the other half!

I'm wondering how to change the O2 sensor. I also have a new sensor for it (Denso 4 wire), and the right size spanner I had from doing one in my old car, and I know where to disconnect the plug end, but I'm wondering where the actual sensor is located specifically and easiest way to get to it. I know I'm most likely looking in the wrong place for it!

Another question that is asked by many but not really answered is how many sensors does a TF Magna have? is it only the one?

It should ohnly have one. And from memory it should be in front on the catalitic converter by about 3-4 inches on the top side of the pipe.

Correct. Located in the "y" pipe before the cat. Put the front end up on axle stands and you'll be able to get to it.
Use some anti-seize when you put the new one in.

Q. Why are you changing it? What symtoms have you got that indicate the O2 sensors buggered?

hi well good luck now to find the plug end in the passenger side next to the floor console pull the carpet down then you should see two metal plates
the one closest to the fire wall undo the three screws then there should be a small white connector wrapped in Grey foam this is the one for the oxy sensor
then under the car when you look at the exhaust just near around where you would sit drivers side you should see it the oxy sensor with wires coming out of it just unclip it from the floor pan and pull out the wire with the plug on it as this makes it easyer to undo it then just undo the oxy sensor and then do every thing in reverse if i have picked the wrong spot for oxy sensor forgive me been a long day
hope this helps cheers liam

Thanks! It gives me something to do tomorrow! :)

The reason why I'm changing it is I don't think its ever been done. The car had mostly done steady highway driving in its like, but since its the original and I managed to get the Denso 4 wire (which is supposed to be a better one) really cheap I thought why not!
