hey people ive currently got two Pioneer 305CBOX 800w subs and am using 2 BA2900 Boss 1000w 4ch amps, will i get better bass outta using better quality amps??? if so i want to upgrade them soon, any ideas on a good brand amp that will be good enough to power these subs and a pair of 6" splits??? I just heard a JLS amp powering a Sony Xplod sub sounded very nice!

and dont trust anything on a sony they are absolute ****!

if you going after a better amp. i would have a look at JL and kicker amps. I run kicker amps and i cant fault them.

if you're on a budget go for fusion, good bang for buck.
Otherwise look at JL Audio, Kicker and Cadence.

Yes an amp that is 100WRMS with better control, crossovers, S/N ratio, low THD etc will sound way better than a 200WRMS amp. Ummm as for an amp that will power the lot that is a hard ask unless you would look at say using an existing boss amp to power the splits and buy a mono block. The only amp that will do the job of the lot is the Audison SRx3 as this amp allows a 4 ohm load ( or 2 ohm ) for the front stage and a 2 ohm load ( or 4 ) for the subs. With the 4 / 2 ohm combo the SRx3 is good for 65WRMS x2 + 340WRMS x1. I think that amp will do the job ( dont worry about the 340WRMS for the subs that will be plenty ), is $698 though, worth every cent. Unless you get a mono block like say a Caliber 2000d, 750WRMS x1 @ 2 ohm $600 and use a boss amp bridged for the splits. :D

id save the money on the amps ........ sell your 4inch speakers and get some 6" fronts and pay for the costom install .............. cos honestly .........2 12inch subs fully powered is to much for a pair of 4 inch speakers ..... it will give u so much more clarity...screw the extra base
