When slowing to a stop the gear box gies a clunk. Not all the time, but sometimes like when braking to go over a speed hump it happens. Any ideas or sugestions of what may be causing this to happen would be much appreciated. Plus a fix would be better

If you dont already have one, a Gregorys manual will help alot on old cars. Also, you'll find the full Mitsubishi Workshop Manual around the forums. Worth downloading if you work on the car yourself.

Check that all suspension components are tight.
