First fitment in a couple of weeks? When I spoke to Dave last week he indicated they were still on track to ship this month.
I don't wanna wait another month

Yeah, the rear bank copped a revision. These are for both the 3.0 and 3.5's. I have a gut feeling though that he has ones for the AWD. You'd need to check with him.

I believe the flex pipe was re-worked in the latest revision too.

Somewhere between $600-$700 I think.. with an extra $300 or so to get them ceramic coated.
Yes, they should fit both 3.0 and 3.5 FWD models with any trans type.

i wasted a good 4 months of my life waiting for those extractors. gave up and got pacemakers for well under half the price in the end. pity they didnt arrive sooner

Hey Trancer...
How much did your Pacers cost you and do you reckon they're any good? Word has it HM are gonna make headers that might be used by MMAL! Anyone heard anything similar??

The pacers are a very good design, worth the money.

i paid $380, and around $180 for them fitted. I reckon they are very good for the money, have been very happy with them for the last month of having them fitted.
The RPW ones are better i suppose, as they include a new flex pipe.

I've been looking at the pacemaker extractors for my 2002 TJ - will they bolt straight onto the factory exhaust in the meantime, untill I get around to upgrading the whole thing???
also, what effect will they have on the factory warranty? (i've still got around 18months worth)

cutting is involved with the PaceMakers, just in front of the Long Flex pipe. Any exhaust shop can do it, but how much they charge you is another problem.
factory warranty, I think extractors could void it. be careful.

Shouldn't void the whole warrenty. If it's proven that the headers caused the muffler to die then I'd say that means the muffler won't be covered. I think that means that if the headers caused the oxy sensor to die and causes the engine to run rough or damages something then you won't be covered, but that shouldn't happen. Oxy sensors however have been known to die after headers ahve been replaced.

Hmmmm... so where is the Ox sensor in the magnas?? forgive my ignorance - I'm a 3 week old magna owner.

The O2 sensor is on top of the "engine pipe" (the bit that looks like a bazooka attached to the exhaust manifolds at one end and the cat at the other, with a flexible joint at both ends). You screw it out of the old pipe and screw it back into the new one, so the new one has to have the right threaded hole in the right place. My guess is without it the car will run like a hairy dog.

the car runs ok with it disconnected, i had mine off for a while, it just loses economy bec its needed for closed loop cruise mixture mode.
Hmm $1000 plus install sounds like a good price to me... as long as they do work as well as we are being told they will then i'd be happy to dispense the money for that.
Also Be keen to see some dyno printouts of pacemakers vs the RPW extractors. would be interesting
