Greetings, I have recently bought my 6th magna (TW Series II) and I am trying to find the headlight protectors that have the grey shading around the lamp profiles. I have tried the typical outlets like supercheap and autobarn etc, but failed miserably in my quest to find them. Does anyone know whether they are available and where I might find them??? The current aunger catalogue does not list them and even the 2007-2008 catalogue has only the plain protectors.

Any help is very much appreciated....

have you got a pic or a link to the protectors? I've only ever seen the clear ones & I'm not sure that the type you mention, even exist.

Are you after the head light protectors like the ones in the photo? these are genuine and cost about $90-100 I think will check when I get home. You have to undo a little screw to get them off and clean them. But they are tough......

Are they the same as the TL ones???
If so i have some that i dont need.

Yeah, I've got a set on my TL, but they're clear, with no shading.

Genuine from Mitsu. Not that expensive really, as they were given to me by the dealer when I bought the car.

The headlight protectors are the same for TL & TW. The only difference in the headlight department between the two was the colour matching just behind the lights.

Thanks all... Having seen a close up of these lights, it's looking more and more like the actual headlights have a grey shaded background, rather than the protectors.. Does that make more sense? I thought it might be a feature of the sportier models but that doens't appear to be the case. So, I am now left wondering what models were manufactured with these headlights... Might have to call MMAL.

The TLs had a black surrounding on the headlights. Somewhere along the line, they colour coded the headlight surounds. I'm not sure if was only TWs that got this, or if it was a running change during the TL production.

My TL (Solara) has colour coded headlights - 2003. I'm not too crazy about them actually - would rather the black surrounding to contrast with the car colour.

Unfortunately no.... Sienna Red. Might look a bit strange on your silver car!
