Hey all, I got a 93 2.6L magna, and am getting around 10.8L/100km

this seems a bit high for me on a 4 banger, my 5.0L back home got 11 on the high way.

I have done the plugs, cap and rotor, oil change, air filter. still need to do the fuel filter.

any ideas out side of that timing maybe? and on that note what is the stick timing for a 2.6L EFI.
and since I am new to magnas is there a plug or switch I need to disconnect before I adjust the distributer for the timing?

Thanks

Sean

They were qiute a big 4, and the tr-ts isn't the lightest car either. I had a 2.6 GJ GSR and found it kinda thirsty also.

That sounds pretty close to average, the Astron is a thirsty little bugger.

ahh I just read a post that some guy was getting like 8, I figured it was not too far off, got 10.6 today. but the car is fairly chubby.

maybe once I double check the timing and do the fuel filter i can get it down to 10.

also fuel filter related, I noticed what looks like one on the fire wall passenger side that leads to the fuel rail, but I also noticed a small blue filter near the gas tank? :S its got me confused.

My 6g72 gets between 7.6 to 11 :) V6 ftw - The astrons aren't the best for eco...
