my brother is taking out his auto in his 3l ks, and i was hoping to get a rundown off someone of the quickest way, eg is thier torque converter bolts to undo etc, i have the 3rd gen manual and im wondering if the process is the same. cheers

will be the same
process drive shafts off subframe etc
and drop box out from underneath

but the 2nd gen box and motor is on the otherway
on the 2nd gen there is a bolt above the starter motor through
the front engine bracket that is sometimes missed

there used to be a link to the free downloadable repair manuals

you just needed adobe to read it
