a mate of a mate of mine has offered me a TR exec 4cly manual with black leather interior for $350, aparentley the cluct is buggered (it still drives) and its got 6months rego on it.

If it worth it or should i just let it go, been thinking about getting a cheap run around so i can leave the sports in the shed?

if its along the seam it can be fixed on the cheap... make it look good.. sell it on ebay.. from the pics no one will tell the difference

yeah sure mate.. my mum was a sewing machinist and she used to fix car stuff alot.. and anlong the seams is the eaiest and cheapest, as they can jus6t pull the leather tighter, and then sew it back up...

well i brought , got him down to $250 so i thought why not, When for a drive in it and it had no power stering, so i toped it up with some fluid. Now its all working again. anyway ill post some pics later on

its not , but oh well. the power steering pup is making all sorts of noises and leaking fluid. I don't know if its a busted pump or a busted line

Leather looks good. To bad its a sv6 mk2 but with a 4 banger doesnt make sence? Hence the name SV6!

I wouldn't be suprised if the boot was replaced at some stage and it had SV6 stickers on it. The sv6's i have seen atleast had color coded bumpers.

I say part it. Sell the mags, spoiler and leather interior seperately (and whatever else is worth taking of the car) then sell the rest to the wreckers. Profit for sure.

piece of **** but for 250 its worth it even if you use it as a basher and just thrash the **** out of it till it dies.

if you are in NSW and under 25, it's worth it for the 6 months of rego and CTP greenslip.

rego+ctp normally costs about $800 per year

Well as of today the car is gone, traded her in got $1250 for her :woot:. i've been looking for a verada or a magna for ages for my fiencie but haven't found anything suitible, so we found a 1994 VR Berlina, nice loomking car, goes all right . but shes happy thats the main thing

Some respect for a tired old Magna is called for here, I find this comment offensive and I feel it should be retracted. :io: :woot:

It deserves some TLC, like a new paint job and a complete retrim of the interior. Sell it to me so I can fix the poor old mistreated thing. BMW granite silver paint and quality light grey cloth would bring it up a treat.
