Hi everyone

This is the first time i have joined a forum that will undoubtedly be very helpful.

I am in the process of buying a 2002 TJ magna advance series 2 and actually work for the car yard that is selling it.

As being able to work for them I can get a very good price they are asking 8900 but should be able to get it cheaper 6000 maybe.

As this is my 1st car i am very excited just took it home for test drive for couple of days and are very satisfied with it very powerful and smooth as well as comfortable.

Just like to get other peoples thoughts on the purchase, pretty much am deadset on it, have to organise finance and all that but i think 10000 would allow me to upgrade the vehicle. Thinking K@N air filter rear spoiler and some mags only that at this stage.

Appreciate any thoughts and comments as being my first car need some other opinions.

Thanks

$8,900 is a little high, depending on condition. With a bit of neogotiating, you could get a TJ VR-X through a private sale for around a similar figure. Heck, if you jump on Carsales, there's a KJ Verada GTVi (think Verada with VR-X engine/suspension) for a tad under $10k. When you think about the options you'll get (bodykit and spoiler, mags, upgraded suspension, 5 speed tiptronic, exhaust) it might be worth spending the extra now, particularly if you don't want to spend a fortune modifying it later.

If you could get it for $6-7k though it'd be well worth it. They're a lot of car for not much money.

What are the k's on it? If its got good km's I reckon it'd be a goer, ~$6k for a Series 2 Advance is a pretty good deal, you get pretty much power everything, climate etc in those models.

I'm going to guess its Auto because I don't think they made TJII Advance manuals.
