i dont have time to search as i am trying to source a clutch, and the workshop asked whether its a push or a pull clutch

its a pull clutch. pretty much the exact same as an evo 7 only smaller...

if its any help i got an ebay clutch for $440 (pp) with 20% extra clamp.

daikin. oem spec + 20%

it isnt a bad price either.

i am guessing you have a 6g74, they are more expensive though, these guys are good on price.

Pull type clutches are genarally more pricey than push aren't they?

Reason i ask is because i remember when i bought a clutch for my supra the dude said they were pricey because they are pull style.

Too true! A push gen 2 clutch cost me $125 off eBay.

Yeah 3rd gen clutch prices are the only thing scaring me off a manual conversion, $500 conversions sound cheap until you realise the clutch will cost more than the rest of the parts.

i know it definately hit my pocket, i couldnt resist getting a hd clutch also the labour is a bitch too 6.5 hours and it starts to get abit pricey

So why the price difference? Both kits have the clutch plate, cover and thrust bearing. Gold plated 3rd gen bits possibly? lol

i got a excedy Heavy duty clutch goes great alot more responsive when depressing then the standard. got it cheap through my bro

i havent picked the car up yet, so ill let you know as soon as i get home after i give it a good flogging :)
i can ask my workmate who organised mine to see if he can help you out too.
edit: you can have a drive if you come out on tuesday.

hey mate, im going to be getting quotes for a new clutch tomorrow, can you tell me how it is/ goes and what it is/ how much and where from pleeeease? the only place in penrith i have been to so far wants bout 1500 for an evo 8-9 clutch or whatever it is he told me...
