Going by the VIN number the VRX base car is now approaching 2 years of age, not that this should be a huge surprise to most.

With a VIN number that low it was produced not far into series III production.

$40k! A FG Turbo would be a much better buy or even a VE SS.

yeah if he gets it itl go in the shed and driven occasions. plus ill get a bodykit copyied for mine:woot:

When they were announced I thought about getting one & transfering my exhaust/extractors, throttle body etc onto it as a good base to build on. Back then it was a joke as they advertised 20 available but only one came to QLD & it was already taken & no others were available. I think about a dozen were presold to private buyers & the rest to select dealers.

I wouldn't garage it as these ones here have already lost 1/3 of their value & they are still new so not a good long term investment I wouldn't think. They're selling for what a VRX was back then new which I guess is a bargain considering the extra goodies.

Well the price that Portside offered one to me for was tempting (very tempting) until i drove the "test drive" one. After a couple of hours drive, the only things i ended liking on the whole car was the wheels and brakes

I also saw a Turd Aurion the other day for $39990 with 2000kms. So much for Toyota holding their value lol

well got a quote for insurance today for one of these. just cars want $2,200. we tried 3 others but wont touch it.
