I just now realized that I should have bought a white VR-X instead of a red one

I wanted to change the wheels but none looks good on a red car - white would have been perfect

Do you know approx. how much will it cost to have it all repainted?

I don't think you should be wanting to respray your whole car from a nice red to a nice white just to suit your mags. In fact I really like the red VRX's, especially Bains. I think it looks great. All I know is that it would be a lot cheaper selling your car and buying a white VRX and transferring anything/everything across than respraying the lot. Look at Bain's VRX. It's red and I think it looks awesome with those mags.

the Series II I think - it's not metalic (see attached)

These sold here in Dubai are a bit different. As you see the rear wing is different than the Australian VR-Xs' and they have those UGLY 16' wheels + a 4speed lazy f---ing automatic gearbox - but it all worths for a price tag of 23.000 AUD (63.000 AED) - new one (I know the VR-Xs' were sold in Australia at around 35.000 AUD?)

its nice color mate, and you car seems to be among the first generation of V_RX which came out, all you need is to tint the windows black and get come charomes and thats all. it will look sweet.

I agree that red is better than white.

But i dont agree on the shadow chrome.. Heres a pic of one of the Flame red colour cars at one of the first melbourne cruises.. Unfortunately i didnt get any side on shots.. Best i could do.
