hey guys.
Just had a minor service on the car with an oil change and **** (duh) and my idle is still off.
Before the service it was sitting at about 500rpm maybe a little lower when sitting so i thought the minor plus oil change will fix that, like they would check the timing belt.
The idle is still about 500rpm and when i slow to a stop from about 80, the idle drops real quick when i stop to around 300rpm or lower then slowly rises so it feels like its going to stall.
Is an auto so yeahh. Can you speed up the timing belt from home? Any ideas?

It could be that the idle air valve needs adjusting - which is a little phillips head screw that can be adjusted on the throttle body.
I'd be checking the PCV and making sure they're opening and closing properly and maybe give the TB a clean. Hopefully that sorts your idling issues. Let me know how you go because I had similar issues with mine and then it started stalling randomly.

Well I'd be undoing it to let more air in. You'll be able to hear the engine rpm increase as you do it and vice versa.
The PCV Valve is the positive crankcase ventilation valve - on our cars they look like a hose with a plastic fitting plugged onto the front rocker cover.

i undid the screw a bit and it lifted the idle abit. there is a louder sucking noise now, i know its getting more air in but i have a K&N filter, should i pull it out and clean it? or is that normal..
i cant check it atm cause some reason my alarm system as disabled the car, i have tried fixing it but its cracked it so i will wait half and hour then go for a drive.
