From a VR-X or GT. Has anyone tried it? Do dealers supply them? I'm asking here first because I'm guessing a dealer won't help me without a VIN number.

SMF, if you are venturing to the clearance place anytime i'm almost 100% sure there's a heap of them there. Infact i reckon SATFer scored one yesterday.

Still 2 bucks is pretty cheap.

I'll give them a call, there's only the Mitsu dealer at Mt Barker close to me otherwise.

whats the tyre rating of the 380's like? still stupidly high?Other way around. Lower than Magnas, hence why I want one. 380 tyre sizes are 215/60R16 95H (same as Magna) and 215/55R17 93V (compared to 225/50R17 94V for Magnas). Hence making 245/35R19 93Ws legal according to the placard... just hope no one checks what they were approved to be sold with by authorities.

And if they do check and find the changed placard it is more evidence of knowingly trying to cheat the regulations. I imagine an insurance company will be even less likely to pay out after finding a changed placard.

Not for insurance, rather the possibility of being pulled over. I'll get them engineered later, removing that hassle.
