Howdy folks,

i had a white TP Elante a couple of years ago which will be posted under one of my threads somewhere! None the less, i sold it a bit over a year ago and the clown who bought it just trashed it... anyway one day he come in here with the back wheel hanging off (on a 45 degree angle!!) exhaust half missing and wanting to get rid of it, so i got it back... this was about 6 months ago.

Been sitting around since then, decided to get it fixed up a couple of weeks ago (the mechanical stuff, had a broken wheel bearing and all those parts), exhaust off one of my wrecks, new engine mount and some other little bits and pieces, since ive put some alloys on it from a wreck i recently bought and have cleaned it back up again.

First time ive ever 'de-elanted' an elante (getting rid of the elante wheels) but i reckon shes looking pretty darn good again!

Looks good mate! I always thought the Elante was a nice car when they came out.

nah i dont have any before shots, just what it was like when i used to own it... so just looks the same except for the wheels hehe.

an elante would have to be equal to a VRX in TJ terms so yeah, were pretty special in the eraly, VERY EARLY 90s!

Alex.

I kid you not, when i was a forth year apprentice panel beater (Norwood Panel Works) 90-91 i replaced 3 rear ends in a month on 3 different Elantes. two white ones and a red one.
