Duct tape might have fixed that.
Some members do polyurethane castings or make inserts for the mount.... I'm hanging onto one of my broken ones in case I need to investigate POLY in the future.

ive done a poly mount. full clean out and re-cast. Brad (BJ31OS) has it on his car. I still have enough poly to do another 3, and may be willing to part with the kit for the right price. I dont have the time to do them myself.

If you want more info on how i did it, pm me.

looks like my rear mount is on its way out.... would changing one to poly be an issue?

i don't think it will be a issue, but some say that because the poly mounts are harder it will cause the rubber ones to fail prematurely

Is it a big job changing the engine mount?

Like I said my lower front (radiator) one is on the way out.

DYI
1. loosen the bolts for engine mount (EM)
2. jack up the car (under oil sump, with a block of wood) to support the weight of engine
3. remove EM
4. remove all the rubber and steel ring out of EM (if you have access to a press its a 2min job otherwise cut it out with the hack saw 10min-1hr job)
5. insert the new ploy mount (it comes in 2 parts just slides in)
6. refit the EM
7. lower the car
8. make sure the EM bolts are tight
9. done, go for a drive

Do you mean jack the car up or just support the weight of the engine?
