hey guys need some help about a week ago my car started to lose acceleration power i dont know much about cars and my mechanic is away for the next 3 weeks the car is a 99 TF magna exec with 170,000 on the clock timing belt was done about 2 months ago along with a full service , the problem is mostly from 3rd 4th and 5th, thought it might have been bad batch of fuel so i put some 98 in and the problem is still there sorry for the lack of info guys but like i said i know nothing about the mechanical side i cars any help would be fantastic cheers.

So has it been doing this since the timing belt was been done or has it started later..???

it started about a week ago just mentioned the timing belt cos its the only work i have had done thought it might have something to do with it

might be your clutch starting to slip

Lots of stuff really. Hows idle quality? Any surging under load or pinging? When was the fuel filter last changed?
