Hey guys,

I got myself a little present
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a230/micjaiy/DSC02296.jpg

After choonga helped me find a guide on how to tap into the tacho wiring for my car, i purchased one of these off ebay.

Now the challenging part, i didnt really think through where id put this thing. Here are the options;

OPTION 1
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a230/micjaiy/DSC02302.jpg

OPTION 2
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a230/micjaiy/DSC02304.jpg

OPTION 3
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a230/micjaiy/DSC02305.jpg

OPTION 4
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a230/micjaiy/DSC02306.jpg

please post your answers here, or if you can think of a better location. Anything but behind the air con vents

Option 3 - you already bought the FuLLy H3KtiC TaChO LiYt, you might as well let everyone know about it when you fly past doing doing 62 in a 60 zone

if you dont know when to shift well no light is going to help you. Mount it on the roof facing back so the car behind you can see when you hit redline..:)

How about pull it apart, modify the output it to light up one of your cluster lights (ie. engine light), factory look ftw :)

lol i know when to shift, this is just to aid me. I've only bounced off the limiter a handful of times. I just want to able to concerntrate on the road more than anything, also the xr's dont have a redline on the cluster and there is only one way to find out.

I suggested cracking the cluster open and finding a way to put it in there, that way when he hits the shift point, the entire cluster will light up...

Vote 1 or 3. 1 would be my primary choice, as long as it doesn't get in the way of anything. Anywhere thats not really in plain view is a bit silly as you need to see the light or there's no point having it.

Guys,
Is the OP's car, not yours, if you have something constructive to state, this is the thrad to put it into. if not, then there really is no where for you to put your opinion as the OP was not asking if you like it or now

Many do not like these lights and see little use for the lights, as do I the posts I have been reading from those stating to throw it on the bin etc

Thanks dude, but i don't mind, i knew i was going to get some responses like that lol

I'm really leaning towards 3 only cause its the optimal spot and probably easiest to fit in that position.

Will be installing it on sunday if i have time ;)

cut a hole in the back of your bulge, then black mesh it, then put it in there....

then do it to the bulge on your bonnet.
