Hey, does anybody know how to remove the shifter knob from the auto trans? I have tried everything and are almost ready for the hacksaw..... I have looked real hard for any screws and have found none at all.
I wonder how far I can twist it before it snaps.......
Any comments?

Assuming your talking about the gear knob on the auto, its easy to remove.
1.Park the car on a flat surface.
2. Make sure handbrake is on
3. Shift trans into L
4. You will see a screw on the back of the knob which normally faces your headunit/dash etc.
5. Unscrew and take off, simple as that!

Hope this is what u were after, if not, mehhhhhh...

so the button on the top comes off? I tried to persuade it a bit but it didn't seem to want to budge.
Does anybody else have a model with no visable screws?

If you put on a standard shift knob to a Auto would it just require you to push downwards on the stick to release it.

I wanted to put one of these on

But wanted to know if the boss would fit the stick properly.
