hey when adjusting mt idle speed today, i noticed if i put my finger over the hole the screw sits in it had slight suction. im only adjusting it half a turn off factory spec, so is this normal or is their an O ring that needs replacing on the shaft of the nut? will this airflow be enough to cause idling issues? i thought the screw allowed more air passed a chamber, not let it in via the screw opening, i am wrong?. on a side note i brang idle up slightly and its alot better now, no shakes at the lights. i do need a lead set. hey heres a joke, rang mitsi dealer and was quoted $300 for lead set and $221 for dizzy cap!!!! i can get lead set for $161 from supacheap and a dohc cap is only $22 from repco. anyone know if the SOHC and DOHC are the same on the 6G74? are they the same as the 6G72?

thanks mal, just screw it out completely? no special procedure? looked in manual and couldnt see anything on it. would such a tiny amount of air make a difference? its only a light suction.

Get a complete screw which comes with the o-ring. Pretty cheap. Although your screw may come out easily if the oring is cracked/split/dead.
