Howdy all,

I have been floating on these forums for ages checking out all the Magna's and have been in the market for one for myself for a few months now, finally I found one!

It's a Tj Advance 2001, what you see is how I got it, besides the massive clean for the last day and a bit.

Thinking of starting off with a few cheap mods, wouldnt mind a few ideas if you fellas have any?

Haha yeah cheap is good! I dont mind the red ones too much, anything is better than my last car..converted to this from a VS commy, no comparison!

first thing's first, get clear side indicators. Go to a Mitsu dealer and ask for a pair of 380 side indicators, should be about $25

second thing i'd do is colour code the grey plastic side strips and skirts

Yeah definately the side repeaters i reckon, about the colour coding? How do I go about doing that and what sort of cost would I be looking at?

don't listen to hyper, you'll understand why if/when u meet him :P

but you can either colour code it yourself as per this thread http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53334, or get it done by a spraypainter, I did mine myself and it came out pretty well so i'd recommend it

edit: by the way, you should come out to a meet if you can make it, there's one tomorrow night

Why is it the most common mod is clear side markers FFS can people not think a little outside the square for once, might as get in first, get some parras mate, fuwwy sik mate

Seriously though, the white cars look awsome from a looks point of view when clean with nice dark tint, colour code the plastic and you are off to a good start especially when nice and low

Stick some verada tail lights in it also, dont worry about thost ghey altezza's etc, tail lights are to be seen, not hidden

Those rims look crap so I am more than happy to take them off your hands LOL

yeah its the place to go but there isnt as much there as u may think just a lot of random stuff but its awesome if u have never been there b4

and yes the mitsi house has great goodies i got my self some sweet new door cards took me about 3 hours to find a set of 4 but damn was it worth it ;)

Yeah man took me long enough but it was worth the wait! Have just ordered a couple bits and pieces, the clear indicators, some clips for the windscreen trim at the top (all clips were broken) and some touch up paint for all the stone chips on the front! Hey also I just picked up some wiper refills from big W, not knowing the size i got 8mm ones, after looking at it when i got home im assuming its wrong? Anyone know? Cheers

I on the other hand would say it instantly destroys the car, makes it look like a ricebox.

Car looks good man, its good to pickup a clean 3rd gen thats already lowered with some nice wheels on it, saves you a fair bit of dosh getting it done!
