hey guys quick simple question which modle 3rds came out with engine covers?

my series 1 sports has one

is there like a listing or something of which modles like
all sports
all vrx
all solaras?

TH Advance, 3.5litre, doesn't have one. It wants to have one, just doesn't at the moment :)

Some of the Verada's did not have them in the KJ series either, mits started skimping a lot towards the end

My TH Exec didn't come with one. Don't want one either. You loose like 4sec down 1/4 mile due to weight increase :P

Any SA users have a spare eng cover? I'd like one for my TL. Any idea of what these are worth - new or used (ie wreckers)? Thx.

You should aim to purchase with the rocker cover, clips and bolts to make a clean installation

Price, I usually charge $75 for them when I get them

I'll probably sell my Sports cover if anyone wants to pay for it.

i tested temps in battery box and compared to engine bay, and it was alot lower around battery, which would extend battery life. ill try find where i wrote down exact figures. i suppose the engine cover would have the opposite effect and hold heat in the area between the heads, hey maybe it increases fuel rail temps to improve atomisation like the upgrade fuel rail spacers?? ha ha ha ah i dunno. :facejump:
