Story on my car: I talked to Rigoli performance, I'm going to order the aftermarket ecu and get the car in there in the next week, depending on how long it takes to order the ecu in. It should be running within 2 weeks. But Im not holding my breath...I've stuffed up all the deadlines I've made thus far!

I'd be guessing that would be Craig Harrison's TR, featured on fastmagna (http://www.fastmagna.com) as 'Ultimate TR' under the 'Gallery' > 'Feature Cars' section.

I'd have to say that nicem8's verada wagon is probably one of the tip-topest 2nd gens I've seen on these forums. Bloody great effort. I agree with Lethal that the blokes and co. @ fastmagna have some of the sweetest 2nd gen rides around.

Mine is probably not the most heavily modified but it sure is gonna be quick. I also think that fastmagna.com has the most modded 2nd gens. Theres some cool pics of them too.

LOL, i ahd a white redback gearknob in my 78 LB Lancer HAHA, i think Norms 2nd gen is awesome and very unique with the kit, also i like the white Diamante from the US (the one with the flamie red stickers on the side and the lexus custom bar) Craig and james have the best performance 2nd gens with KB comin into that section also... then i would have 2 say errrrmmm MEEEE :P But overall i thing all of us have done a real good job on our 2nd gens and one of us has at least 1 thing unique about our rides, like i have a "FULLTIME 4WD" badge on my grille, nicem8 with his front bar and colour, WGNBOY with his carbon fibre, KB with the 1st DOHC :D

i vote Tuffy for this, definately the most modified 2nd gen around after he engine transplant as there are more mods to come after that, he is just sort of buying a new car with the same amount of power and driving dynamics.

Yeah tuffy has had ALOT done... And with this engine transplant will be even more... My vote is going his way.

There is also a Member on here called Jackon who had a pretty nice looking 2nd gen, Not to mention some other neat rides like Gerards, and Yourself puck, that wagon was pretty banging!
Theres a few on here with either alot of visual and no engine, or alot of engine and no visual, so its hard to say which is the best, I like a whole kinda package thing

If you want to introduce a new one, I reckon the most surprising modified 2nd gen on the road will be the TUFFTR hopefully in little over a month or so's time, when it overtakes twice as fast as your expect it to when you see a Magna coming up behind with its DOHC 3.5 :cool:

well the ones i know of are Shagna the turbo wagon? thats heavily modified. Also theres dimi108 with the dohc actually inside the car. and there was someone else that was supercharged? i cant remember, or was it dimi that was getting supercharged? hmm

anyway, tuffy has a great car. very nicely painted mechanical bits waiting to go in the car. His will definitely be on the list soon enough.

i went for the very clean look. by no means the most heavily modified, but probably one of the cleanest. Until the bottom end let go and sprayed oil everywhere

The car has been sold to one of the admin on Mitsubishi Club Australia. And he will be taking over the restoration and project. With his knowledge, the car will finally turn into the monster it was always meant to be.

My new car is going to be a Magnum Twin Turbo Wagon :P
While i'm waiting for her to arrive at Port Botany, i'm going to buy a cheap Magna run around car for now.

God i still remember the stress i went through to get that GTO engine in. With paula sending me his ingiter, mal helping me understand more about the tranny and TCU wiring and KB guiding me on what to do and where to go. Man, was I lucky to have experienced folks like yourselves backing me up :thumbsup:

Anyhow, i think the most modded 2nd gen here would have to be paula's.
Especially after the Debonair engine gets dropped in. That'll be the icing on the cake

I'm going to say there's multiple forms of heavily modified, you can have the biggest mods, or the highest quantity. Visual or performance.

I don't think it's any question that Tuffy has the most in visual mods and probably will take performance once the 6G74 is in, not to mention the biggest mods title, a complete engine, trans, ECU, etc swap is pretty major.

Highest quantity though I have no idea, it's basically all the mods most would consider "insignificant", whether it be clear indicators to an earthing kit. It may not do jack all, but it's still modified.

my zorst is completely different from that ey.... that muffler was on my old second gen which i actually gave to Big Paul for all his help and help to come with keeping my xi on the road and a few things i need helps with.

hehehe, oh the wonders of a magna:bowrofl: With this missfire I got, there is a theory, my coil doesnt have a good enough duty cycle, so as I am running a haltech e6x ecu, im gonna run a haltech coil which is like super duper to see if my bosch coil isnt coping enough. its just called an LS1 coil but I dont think its specifically for an LS1 (holden) engine.

So you will hear from me on thursday full of grins or tears. But the coil is 95 bucks, with labour im paying about 250 all up.

I have done 1,900 km on the engine so its ready for the 1 bar tune which should see the power at the wheels reacha round 300hp mark pushing it into the 13.5-14.0 bracket down the 1/4

yes well you cant rush these things, most things are done just fine tuning things at the moment. No point me giving in to pressure and then blowing my engine up, which i have already done, along with a gearbox at the same time. So when the time comes, it will shine :D

Ask most WA AMC'rs I bring it out on our social meets and it turns a lot of heads and seems to create interest, which makes it all worth it.

You are talking at the fly right? I'll read up on what else is done, but im thinking you'd need more boost (20psi) and better flowing heads for such a figure at the wheels.

Also you'd should see the 12's with 300hpatw. I'm thinking high 13's with > 200hp atw. Pretty light cars.

I know it brings it into the 12 second bracket, but magna gboxes are weak, ive blown 2. so to drag race will have to launch slow and power through each gears so gonna be running slower than what looks like 12s on paper

Might want to email quaife. I think some of the US models might share the gbox you're using if you're lucky. They make an lsd for my gbox (designed for the fwd GTO).
Then you can get your gears heat treated and start snapping driveshafts instead.

I meant quaife make lsds for a few different gboxs. If the 4cyl is shared by something like a starion or something you could be in luck.

I was saying the v6 gbox looks to be identical to the fwd gto's so i can get an lsd
