ok im looking at getting a polaris indash entertainment unit for me car. i want to make it look factory but keep my stock stereo. the galants have a navigation system above the centre vents. does anyone know how i can find the part number for the clip in surround.

any help appreciated

Does it fold back down out of the way, I would think you would lose the display that is usually there.

nah it doesnt. as for the oem display yes ill loose it but i dont care. i only look at the display for the temp anyway.

Didn't someone recently provide links to all the latest parts look up programs for different parts of the world? You could get the part number there if you can find it & it works.

You could possibly remount the factory display right down the bottom of the console if you wanted to retain it. I may be interested in this also if you find a part number.

Just went digging & found it.

I don't know if it works but if you download the USA version it is supposed to cover all cars to 2008.

That would be an interior mod I would like to have

As long as it looked stock and folded out of sight I would do it

you could have any old GPS hardwired in a foldable mount would just be so friggin AWESOME

there has to be a fabricator who can achieve such things

Well abit disappointing that it doesn't fold down as it looks a bit tacky up. Very interested in the controls fascia panel though.
