Need to get my ignition barrel out but it doesnt have the key, if you have the key you just flick it to ACC and poke a piece of wire in the bottom and it slides out, but i need to swap....so how do you do it? anyone know?

Mmmm,
you could try drilling down through the barrell with say a 3/8" -1/2" drill. Once the lock wafers are drilled out then the barrell should turn without a key.

get a good strong screw driver hammer it down the guts and twist like f#$% till you hit the ACC position
or completely remove the barrel from the steering column with a centre punch and a hammer on the security screws
if its a TS magna then complete removal will be the only option from experience due to the inbuilt anti-tamper that disables the ecu and requires a new $300 odd barrel and key

strap some dynamite to the outer plastic of the barrel and let loose :) should do the trick

macguyver would use the powder from a few bullets in the barrel igniting it with the detonator from one of the bullets being struck by the butt of a pistol
or you could try thermite... just be careful of your carpets... stuff will put a hole in em

im such a noob, are you serious you can switch the key to acc, find that hole and insert the wire thread and pull out the key barrel ???
My steering colum came with a key, and i was thnking i was going to have to use the new key to start it but the original key to open the doors/ keyfob. Which equals ghey. I was thinking how the hell do i swap the whole ignition barrel thing without making it look dodge
