Not sure how familiar you guys are with Diamantes. But, here goes.... I have an '02 Diamante ES. The ES model does not have fog lights only the LS however on the ES where the fog lights would have been there is already a cut out on the bumper filled with just a black plastic. Anyone know how hard it would be to install fog lights if I were to buy them off Ebay?

A lot of our magnas don't come with them either, ease would depend of whether or not the wiring is there or not, it could be as simple as plug and play and replacing the stalk - or it could be a custom wiring job, either way if you know electrics its not too hard.

Almost sure it doesn't have the wiring already there seeing as how fog lights were never meant to be put there. I'll give it a shot I guess, it's a whole new look with fog lights.

Just another "heads up" - the Magna and Verada models over here have fog-lights mounted at least a couple of different ways, using different brackets behind the bar.

The actual lamp unit is identical, but different brackets are screwed to it, and some cars have little metal pins/lugs screwed into the housing on the "inboard" side, and these fit/clip into receptacles behind the bumper-bar.

All of these bits (lights, brackets) are horrendously, STUPIDLY expensive in Aust (IMHO). If you buy lights from a wrecker etc, make sure you get as much brackets etc as you can - maybe check a very similar Diamante ES to yours and check what style of bracket it has. Our Verada's have a metal plate acroos the entire top edge of the foglight lens (and I think some older Magna's were the same), but by our 2002 model Magna Sports, the lamp and brackets are mounted from either side, and teh top edge of the lens is completely clear of brackets etc.
