Although if your wanting to replace them, 6.5" fit fine aswell...

yep, my 6.5" responses fit straight into the plastic speaker mount, just drilled some new holes (yes i realise i should have made an MDF baffle :))

thanks for your help :) it's just that i've got new leather door trims waiting to go on and chrome door handles wich i get thursday, and i just wanted to get some new speakers while i was doing that i just wanted to pre buy them i think i mite go 6'5 what do you think, thanks

Do it.... Make sure you build an MDF door mount as sticking a decent speaker in the plastic mount will just result in major door rattles..

6.5 inch will do fine.. Jaycar Response are good on a tight budget..

A 9inch will fit no problems as well. Search may not have found that lol
